Characters and Emotion!

These are kinda writing tips,

I wanted to talk about important characters and emotions. I’m going to put these in separate post. In hopes that it won’t be too long,

The thought came to me while I was watching this really hot guy get all protective  and  angry and thought some bad things and went “Blogging!” before sipping my smoothie.

Yeah...I’m trash.

BR-14

I want to start off with the important character to have.

Love Interest!

Very Important.There should always be a little love interest. No matter what sex or what shape.

And when I  say shape I mean  line or love triangle. Pick carefully!

Just Kidding! (No I’m not).

Whether it starts of as hate or a long  unknown love , this is important, It shows a lot about a character's.

They are not ALL that______.  

Fill in the blank with bad, or innocent or shy.

The Main Girl:

They usually go four way: Badass, Nerd, Naive Innocent, Bitch

There should always be a girl, just like how there should always be a guy.  A girl that's  either a BFF or Love interest! Make sure she and the main guy are close!

You can also make the main girl a villain.

The Main Guy

They can go the same way as the girls, except they can’t be a bitch ( unless they’re being a little bitch). Their fouth  option is usually being a dick.  Again they are either a BFF or a love interest and/ or villain

Group of Friends or Partners

Very important! They complement the main characters. The friends can tell who the person is. The nice guy with the bad guys or the bad girl  with the good girls. Or The bad guys and the good girls.  These can be switched. The guys can do charity while the girl’s do the bad shit,

Fuck gender roles!

Now We should Dig Deeper on to each trait!

The Dick

The guy that doesn’t give a shit about you or what you care about. Only cares for one thing. If he finds something you don’t like, he will do it, just because fuck it. He has and will continue to fuck anyone he wants. He is a general douche bag and witty as frick.

He either really likes you or hates you.

“If it bothers you that damn much, leave...That’s what I thought.”

The Sarcastic Dick

The best person in a book!

Not like the dick up their, but just the ass  that opens his mouth  at the wrong time. He is a cock block and likes to bother everyone. He smiles more and is  amused at the discomfort or anger he caused.

This usually goes best with: the best friend to the main guy and the main guy. The main guy is usually more of a dick but completely sarcastic, while the best friend is the same but less dick and more goofy.

“Well fuck! Would this be a bad time to mention the meter’s running?”

The Bitch

The girl who tries to break up the OTP. In anyway. Even if the girl is her friend she will continue to tell the main girl that he’s bad, Sometimes it can be so The Bitch can have the guy for herself

The Bitch can also just hate the  everyone else and wants to be on top. She will bring down anyone who gets in the way.  To me she is just this annoying roadblock. Sometimes you can have a bitch that isn’t too bad, but that is hard and close to impossible.

“He’ll just screw you and leave, just hand him over now, bitch.”

The Nerd

The one that looks at everyone like their crazy. The person that can explain how every terrible plan can and will go terrible. They read and can stay quiet. You don’t want to verbally fight with them, because they will slay you verbally if they are not shy.

Usually portrayed as shy and like to be alone, except when they are around groups, then they like to be with their friends.

“I give your mom fifteen minutes before she realizes you stole your car and you are grounded for the rest of the year. Tell me how March through November looks through your bedroom window.”

The Cutie

The person that knows they are cute. They pout and tilt their head and get whatever they want. Pretty much know they’re a princess. This can be played out more innocent, but  that's a whole new type of character,

That’s it though. They can wear black clothes or pink. They grin or smile, but   they make cute and sexy comments.

“Come one, babe, I don’t bite.”

Innocent

The person that knows no sexual terms. She can curse or try her best not to. She  knows nothing about sex or anything bad. She will name every bad thing that could happen- like the nerd. When she says it though it’s a bit of a ramble and she just doesn’t want anyone to get hurt. The Nerd might let their friends do something stupid the Innocent will beg them not to- then tag along.

“I don’t understand. What’s wrong with watching Netflix and hanging out.”

Badass

Anyone! Anyone who slays!

They are usually portrayed as no makeup (if a girl or a boy, I don’t judge.) if they do it’s like eyeliner.  They were all black, they don’t give two shits.

That does not matter! They can dress and do whatever they want, as long as they do amazingly badass things as well. Say they are putting on pink lipstick and have on a dress, but someone comes up to attack them. If they beat that person down while holding their lipstick, and then continue to put on lipstick when finishing off the guy after them, THEY ARE A BADASS!

“Well shit! You smudged my shoes, you fuck.”

The Scary One

They don’t say much. They are silent and threatening. They  are protective over people who they care about. As soon as someone fucks with that person they attack. They don’t have to do or say shit, They have serious RBF and like it that way. Keeps the people away.

“Apologize now!”

The Plan B

Where did they come from?

Usually interferes with the OTP. They are the person that comes into to town when the OTP is sinking slowly. They make it happen faster. They are there as soon as the OTP is broken and swoops to save the day and mend a broken heart. They are playfully flirtatious, that is until it works out.

This person could also help with character growth. They help the character grow to be a better person. Either way they are there when the character is about to get their heart broken and will swoop them off their feet.

“It’s fine, I’m here for you, I’ll never leave.”

The There, but Not

The person who helps the main character, but won’t die for them.

They love the main characters and are always there when they are needed- except when their life is on the line. The main characters probably don’t know this person’s real name, just in case it slips. They have everything that the character is looking for, except an aly on the battlefield.

“It was lovely talking to you. Don’t call, but know I love you. Take the back door just in case someone is watching.”

Hero

Simple. The person trying to do good. They do  not have to be the protagonist. If the villain is the main character, they are the antagonist. If their goal is save people and make sure as many as possible surve they are the hero.

“I’ll protect you will mylife, no one will hurt you.”

Villain

World domination!  If played right, they are my favorite. That are usually a sarcastic dick or they are like Damon, Klaus, and Elijah from TVD. They are different. They could just try to ruin one person's life and not give a fuck about the casualties. They could kill anyone that defies them in anyway. Or they could be calm and cool, but when they roll up their leaves when someone is about die.

No this does not mean, just guys are villian. Katherine was a villain was she not?

“I’ll kill every person who bumps into you on the street. Give me what I want or I give you the casualties.”

What the Fuck just happened to me?

My emotions are actual shit at this point. Please help me.

This is book is where the plot just twist into a knife and just stabs you continuously.

This is going to have spoilers. This is also a BR-MA.

So QOS and it’s most important moments and details…

Aelin is back in Arandal. She left Rowan behind. After everything she just wants to calm everything down. She is currently powerless from  all the spell because of the stones.

Aelin finds out the king has her cousin Aedion, and plans on  killing him. Not only that but demons have taken over people using collars and rings. But these beast don’t stop the future Queen from going after family. She cannot do it alone.

I know that Rowan and Aelin had there thing and their friendship is strong and long, but i have my Choal OTP gear bitches. They are going to reunite and Choal is going to be in game.

When they reunite… it’s like doves flying… trying VERY  hard to get away. But, she had been gone for a long time and a lot of things have happened. So they must be fine-

Nope. Lets get to chapter motherfucking 7! That bitched popped out like “HERE’S JONNY!” Choal is sleeping with some other hoe, whos name I cannot pronounce or remember. Here is real live footage of the  OTP ship emplouding.

In the last one if it’s clear that the hope vanished. I think we should get out of pain and hit the glory. *Rips off Choal OTP gear with Rowan OTP gear under and ready to go*

Aelin sneaks into the castle as a dancer and saves her cousin from a painful death. Now when I say that Aelin and Aedion are family goals, I mean it. Aedion is a sarcastic prick who I love with all my heart.

Now I want to get to my favorite scene. Aelin is in the bar and she smells pine and snow.  She is entranced by the smell and goes out the bar into the alley. She sees man covered by a hood, and runs up to him and cries into his chest. She is followed by her friends and Choal. They don’t know who this guy is at first.

Now this hoe Lysandra comes in. She wants to kill Abrobynn.

Now Abrobynn is an ass, he is the King of Assassins and bastards, but come on…

So the ladies begin to plan.

*Another thing you need to know is that Rowan and Aelin sleep in the same bed, and Aelin sleeps in lace nightgowns, getting the right kind of reaction of Rowan.

Another big plot twist is when they go to Abrobynns dinner party. Now Aelin is wearing this beautiful dress that has a dragon design up the back. She looks like a queen.  Before dinner Aelin and Abrobynn kill this demon Aelin had brought him.  Abrobynn took the ring off of the demons fingers (Remember: The ring is what puts the demon inside the person/ the person that puts it on the other person has control over that said other person)

Now after the dinner Abrobynn and Aelin go to have a little conversation. Of course Aedion and Rowan have their ears pressed against the door so hard they practically become the damn door.

Now like the slick ass motherfucker this damn prick is Abrobynn slips the damn ring on her finger. (I screamed… then punched the book… then apologized for said violence) then he makes her smile and say she loves him (I literally dragged myself on the ground through my trash room and  yelled… I am a little crazy).  But Rowan might be more upset…

Now because this couldn’t be said at home and Aelin is a tricky motherfucker she was faking it.

And Abrobynn is killed by Lysandra in his sleep.

Next thing you know Aelin rolls up in that bitch, meaning the Assassin’s  guild, acting like Celena. Rowan does not like Celena. She is the sarcastic, deadly assassin that gives no fucks, not the queen.

She forges Abrobynn’s will so it says she gets everything. She makes the boys in the guild pay her for the guild.

(BIG PLOT SKIP HAPPENING NOW)

The next big thing I want to point out is when they find evil Dorian. Now Aelin tells Choal that they will comeback, since Dorian is being protected by witches.

But no… Choal does the most dumbass thing and runs into Manon.  And guess who saves his ass??????

Yes the girl who he called a monster. That is the one folks.

Now Aelin antagonizes Manon causing a chase and a fight. Manon shoots Rowan, and Aelin gets deadly with no powers. She almost kills Manon and when a building is falling down Manon, Aelin hears something. A girl calling out to Manon.  Aelin runs inside and saves her, because ‘someone called out to Manon the way Rowan would have called out to her’. So now Manon is in debt to Aelin.

Rowan almost dies from blood lost, but that hunk of chocolate is fine.

(ANOTHER HUGE PLOT SKIP FILLED WITH PLANNING)

Now I want to get to the final scene. Rowan and Aedion  are underground ready to start up explosives. (I know with the plot skips this sounds weird but I swear the blowing up is needed…*awkward smile*)

While team B is underground Team A is in the castle. They boys below need to blow up the clock tower, so that Aelin can use her powers. Aelin and Choal are upstairs with king. Choal pulls a Katniss and volunteers as fucking tribute. Aelin is running from a demonic Dorian, because the tower is up with the stone that blocks Aelin’s powers.  Why you ask the boys are being  attacked by evil demon dogs (as they are called in the supernatural world, trust me I know these things).

Now Aelin is running and Choal is dealing with the king, and by dealing I am he is being attacked.  This is how he gets himself killed. Yes he gets killed. (I cried for a while… while screaming for a while).

But, thank the heavens Choal had the Eye necklace that Elena gave to Celena. So he pretty much came back to life.

Now Aelin is able to get to Dorian. And finally the tower is broken down.  Dorian and Aelin mash up their powers and  take down the king who was under the spell of the rings the whole time apparently.

He is also dead now btw

Now Choal is a crip (not gang wise), Dorian is officially a king and Aelin is officially a queen.  

In the end Aelin finally gets home… where hopefully her and Rowan will sleep together. ….

Now bitches can we talk OTPs

You saw what happened to the Choal OTP. Everyone who actually thinks it is still happening needs to get some glasses. Did the titanic comeback?

Now Dorian… bitches. He is OTP of Friends. They are friends like Clary and Simon(Mortal Instruments), Elena and Stefan (The Vampire Diaries #Delena) and the time they were OTP it was cute, it was not hot, sexy or dangerous, it was cute like all the other OTP examples that I listed that turned into friends. Jace gave Clary danger and adventure, Damon gave Elena something to live for while she was dead, Dorian nor Choal has done that for Alien.

Rowan reminds Aelin of the good in her life. Rowan pushed her, Rowan traded working with one of the of the strongest fae to work with a lost Queen. Rowan pulls out emotions in her. Rowan pulled out Aelin the queen she is right now.

So can we get our OTP’s straight

Oh and Sam is dead… okay bitches… they were cute I love the fan art but he is not coming back. Rowan and Aelin went to his grave in QOS. He is underground.

Reading it I was an emotional wreck. i loved it as I do all the other.

The Swinter Of Winter

The Swinter Of Winter- Jan. 2015

I don’t care if Swinter is not a word to the dictionary, it is a word to me and it sounds funny as shit.

It is a new year. And let's talk books, bitches.

We have got to get these books finished. If you are like me, you have over thirty book ideas and thirty Word Documents to prove it. In fact I just got another one.

We have to find a book  that we are writing and focus on that.  I know it is hard, trust me I know, but  one book needs to be finished by the time next winter comes back around.

With the new year we have the book  challenge we all put on ourselves. Trying to read thirty books throughout the year. And we have a lot of new releases coming up.

The book I will be mentioning are my personal favorite’s

Cruel Crown By: Victoria Aveyard- a prologue to Red Queen. That was released on January 5.

Glass Sword By: Victoria Aveyard- the sequel to Red Queen will be released on Feb. 9th. I would give you more, but I haven’t reviewed Red Queen, I am reading it now though. I will definately be getting this book.

The Shadow Queen By: C. J. Redwine- I honestly am so hyped about this book. And this cover though!  This twist on snow white will have you begging for more. I personally do not like the story of snow white, but I am so excited about getting my hands on this book. Feb. 16

Reign of Shadows By:  Sophia Jordan- This cover has me crying. I really want this book. I found it wayyyy back when QOS (if you don’t know what this means, leave my page) came out. This book just says Rapunzel to me. Feb. 9.

Why are all these books about corrupted kingdoms…?

Anyways! Sarah J Maas update her next releases are in May and September.

Now we get to the fun stuff. We all want to know what basic ass tumblr drink to get on the snowy days.

From panera I would suggest their hot chocolate.  They put cookie dough and caramel in it to give give you warmth and a sugar rush.

I also recommend the Gingerbread Latte from starbucks, along with the Gingerbread Frap. They both scream the holiday!

The next is the Caramel brulee Latte and iced Coffee. This one of my favorites. The Iced coffee taste smack like Cocoa Puffs!

To bring back the holiday cheer try the Peppermint Mocha. The minty flavor will make you filled like Christmas.  

Now that we have drinks to sweeten our taste buds let's talk books again. Guys and girls we need to finish these books. Here are my tips to finish writing and reading:

• Read right after school or work, give yourself thirty minutes to relax. If not right after, right before bed. In my case that keeps me up (she types with bags under eyes)
• Read during the week and write on the weekend. Or maybe switch it around. I get my best ideas when I am supposed to be working, but my body wants to procrastinate.
• Promise to write a chapter or page a day.
• Make the Date! Set up date for when you want certain parts of your book done. That can go with reading too. Set up when you want to read.
• Mark the books you plan on reading. Know what books you want to be main and finished, and what will be a between book
• Read when you want to, not when you feel like you have to.
• Read in a comfortable and warm environment

Try these. i am trying to reach a goal of thirty books this year, and these are the steps I plan on using.

The Fall Of It All

Fall Has Begun

I know you think Halloween  and Turkey,

but  fall is about so much more.

Specifically the booking of it all.

These are fall teas, books, and more, that are just perfect for the season

Reading in the fall is amazing. It gets to be so cozy. I mean it’s sweater weather, the best time of the years. I mean wearing the  stupidest/ cutest sweaters in the world, what could go wrong?

Not only that, but sweaters, books, tea, and a tree with falling leaves… calling all tumblr girls, this is  THE picture season.

I want to start with Teas

My favorite brand is Bigelow.

The teas I am listing have their own  big natural flavor, so you don’t need a lost of sugar, unless you have a huge sweet tooth.

Lemon Lift: This one is lemon and spice. It’s not sour. The mixtures have a unique flavor.

English Tea Time: It is so relaxing, it says on the package: “perfect for anytime of day”. They were not lying

“Constant Comment”:  this has an Orange and spice flavor.  Any bold floors are good, and this is blod.

Plantation Mint: It has such a strong flavor, it is to die for *please don’t kill yourselfs*

Strong flavors go great with this season. Big changes, big taste, as I said… only once, this being the once.

NOW BOOKS!

The Queen Of Shadows: written by bae- I mean Sarah J Maas. First ,this just came out. There is never a dull moment with this women.  The feels are un-reals...lol...no...okay.  This is me and Taylor’ current read. I am so legit about this book, I haven't been in tumblr in a month, so I won't get spoiled.

The Young Elites(1)& The Rose Society(2):  Written by Marie Lu. I plan on reading  these. Both covers have an appeal. And strong female lead. The Young Elites is out .The Rose Society comes out Oct. 13  and I know there are feels in these books… from my sources.

Snow like  Ashes(1) & Ice like Fire(2):  Written by Sara Raasch. These are beautiful covers, and poetic names. The second book comes out  Oct. 13

Legacy of Kings: Written by Eleanor Herman. I have been avoiding this book in Barnes and Noble, because well I’m broke, but my mind is screaming “Gimme!”

A Thousand Nights: Written by E.K.  Johnston. This is such a trip back in the past, and magic… dark magic. And evil kings. I mean… yes.

The Shadow Society: Written by Marie Rutkoski. abandoned child, shadow world. Betrayal. I mean there are only seven left on Amazon, the bitch must be good.

The Jewel: Written by Amy Ewing. A girl. This dystopia involves love and pain, And a little affair with the rich and the poor.

Of Beast and Beauty: Written by Stacey Jay.  Literally screams: What is inside does matters what's outside shouldn’t.  It a Beauty and the Beast retelling,  I can’t wait to read.

Stitching  Snow: Written by R.C. Lewis. Another little retelling of  Snow white. I mean she’s not my favorite princess, but she is about to be one of my favorite badasses.

I promise I will make sure to write my thoughts on these books when  I  finish!
